When Ventura Water neared a critical policy milestone in the successful approval and funding of new regional water supplies, they needed an easy-to-understand educational video that successfully translated the technical nature of the solution to win the support of policymakers, community leaders and ratepayers. 

My support started with developing a simple master messaging framework for the project. I then worked with the utility staff and a creative team to develop the storyboard and script for the video. As part of a comprehensive public outreach and education campaign, the resulting short-form video was played at a public open house event at a local wastewater treatment facility. The messaging, illustrations and video played an important role in the utility's ability to approve the project's environmental impact review and funding milestones.
